A brief overview of the role
Mountain Perspective is a business consultancy with a number of contracts and clients across the West Midlands, in a wide range of sectors. Meaning we work with a diverse range of businesses and charities, with a wide range of needs. We are an agile and flexible business that focusses on the clients outcomes, through quality Key Account management.
We have some exciting projects starting this year offering a great opportunity for an apprentice to get involved from the start. Helping shape and build the systems and processes and supporting documentation to underpin the projects. This is a great opportunity for someone that would like to grow their career, and get a range of experiences in Business administration, leading into project management, and key account management. We will work with our apprentice(s) to give them a range of experiences, to help them learn and understand, a range of project opportunities.
Vacancy description
- To work alongside our Business Consultants – supporting with a wide range of administrative functions which will include
- Following up with clients and booking new appointments
- Maintaining contact lists and project reporting documents
- Attending client meetings and taking notes, actions and next steps.
- Adding Client notes to project reporting documents
- Supporting with the creation of Marketing material
- Supporting with the organisation of events and workshops
- Supporting with Key Account Management functions
Desired skills
- An understanding of the importance of processing personal and confidential data
- Working knowledge of basic office practices and procedures
- Taking meeting actions and notes
- Producing work to specified deadlines
- Prioritising and managing own workload
- Emailing and booking client appointments
- Communicating with clients in a sensitive, respectful and professional way
- Working as part of a team
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Maintain recording systems such as CRM’s Ø Diligent and methodical work ethic
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with clients at various levels including business leaders and Council Officers and Civil Servants
- Ability to organise own workload and produce accurate, quality work to tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated and ability to use own initiative
- Ability to understand business requirements and needs
- The ability to keep effective record
Future prospects
A full-time role in Office administration, with the opportunity to develop project support and project management skills and move up to this position.
Required Qualifications
GCSE Maths and English, Grade 4 or above is a requirement for this position.
