Brief overview of the role
The apprentice will work as part of a team and work alongside our Hereford manager, helping with day-to-day administration of the office.
Duties will include:
- Act as an administrator for new and ongoing HR projects
- Support initiatives for the HR team
- To create and maintain reports, spreadsheets and correspondence using a variety of computer packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Input and maintenance on Electronic Staff Records (ESR) system
- Assists with the distribution of policies via the Communications Department
- Answer and advise on general HR enquiries
- Assist with preparation for training courses
- Processing, filing and distributing confidential reports and documents
- Interact with employees at different levels of the organisation
- Produce letters and arrange diaries to assist with Employee Relations Cases
- Demonstrate ongoing knowledge within the HR function
- Maintain databases
