May 2020 – Paula Andrews
Paula has received employee of the month this month for her outstanding commitment to the organisation. Paula has embraced the move to remote delivery and has supported her colleagues with this transition too. Paula has an extremely positive attitude towards supporting the success of the business and her learners. Thank you for your continued hard work, Paula, it’s really appreciated.
April 2020 – Lewis Horner
During April Lewis put in tonnes of extra hours on the ESF SSW project working straight through weekends in order to get us up to speed on paperwork. Despite his wing women Charlotte & Millie being on furlough and the challenges of switching all sessions to remote delivery via Zoom and training the delivery team on the platform, the attendance numbers have remained very high.
Well done in these challenging times.
March 2020 – Julie Nowlin
Julie’s contributions to Riverside have been phenomenal, always going above and beyond with her work. In addition to this Julie runs and shares resources including the daily wake up shake up, monthly newsletters, information on weekly events and much more to assist everyone in the business.
Julie will be receiving a Strava membership for the year to support her with her running goals.
February 2020 – Chloe Watkins
Chloe’s work throughout the month has been fantastic, in addition to diligently completing her self-study for the AAT L4 Qualification due to FE establishments Chloe has immersed herself in additional tasks supporting with Sub-Contracting and compliance issues whilst working in collaboration with another department. This has provided terrific insight and awareness of compliance matters and has also resulted in massive improvements. Thank you so much, keep the great work going.
Being a little camera shy and CV-19 effects means we don’t have a photo but I am sure Chloe is smiling! Enjoy the Molten brown products.
January 2020 – Helen Murray
Helen Murray has undertaken some robust and very well-received training this month and this has been fed back to me from a variety of staff members. She has had a lot of additional workloads to complete as we endeavor to make further improvements and have embraced these all positively. Her work is excellent and she has been supporting staff members so that they feel confident and comfortable with areas of difficulty and this has greatly improved outcomes for learners. I have been impressed with Helen’s attitude to change and proactivity in problem solving and making improvements within our organisation. Well done Helen and keep up the good work!
November – Steve Harrison
Steve, you are one in a million and always put 100% into all of your learners and every situation.

“Jo Hewitson is a proactive and integral part of our new quality team. She has prioritised numerous crucial activities and worked hard to resolve them efficiently and effectively to meet business needs. She has used her initiative and taken ownership of tasks for the benefit of the organisation and to improve quality within the business. I have been particularly impressed with the support of new staff and volunteering to take on and improve maths across our provision. She has gone the extra mile with resolving issues, helping other departments and helping staff and learners. Well done Jo!”
