Lucy is our latest monthly award winner for being “practically perfect in every way” and for making such a positive impact on the business in such a short amount of time.
Paula has gained employee of the month for responding to the business growth in her sector in an extremely positive and professional manner. Paula has also completed some fantastic work on a project to support the induction process for new starters.
Alix is our latest monthly award winner. Alix has worked incredibly hard on the new learner induction activities. Alix is always full of “bright ideas” and strives to make continuous improvements in efficiencies to support the business and her colleagues. Thank you Alix, your passion and enthusiasm is admired and appreciated.
Jane continues to go above and beyond expectations to support learners and colleagues at Riverside Training. Jane led an innovative and engaging session for our PE apprentice cohorts to increase their confidence in assisting during swimming sessions. Jane has been supporting new staff by welcoming them into the team and developing their understanding of our procedures. This has been much valued by new colleagues. Jane has also supported colleagues with their interests and hobbies outside of the workplace, for example by delivering a session for a local Scouts group. In recognition of her successes, Jane has been given theatre vouchers which she is very much looking forward to using in the new year.
Kevin is our latest monthly award winner having worked incredibly hard as part of our curriculum development team, creating exciting new content to support our learners during their induction process. Alongside this he has proven himself to be an excellent Learning and Development Coach, supporting his learners to make superb progress across a number of our qualifications. Rochelle is our latest award winner and she is just amazing. She is such a key member not just to the Business Support Team but to the company as a whole. Rochelle gives 100% at all times and nothing is too much trouble. I am very lucky to have her in my team. Thanks for all your hard work Ro.
Congratulations to Rebecca for winning the Employee of the Month award for May. Nothing seems to faze Rebecca; she is always willing to embrace change and new tasks and to keep an open mind about these. Rebecca has also been commended for her delivery skills into schools and her can-do attitude. Rebecca steps outside of her comfort zone to try new things and gets stuck in.
Eloise always gives her best and we can depend on her to get the job done. Nothing is too much trouble. She is a strong member of the Business Support Team. She works part time but always works flexibly to meet deadlines. Thank you for your hard work Eloise and for being someone I and the wider team can count on.
Paula has received employee of the month for her outstanding commitment to the organisation. Paula has embraced the move to remote delivery and has supported her colleagues with this transition too. Paula has an extremely positive attitude towards supporting the success of the business and her learners. Thank you for your continued hard work, Paula, it’s really appreciated.
During April Lewis put in tonnes of extra hours on the ESF SSW project working straight through weekends in order to get us up to speed on paperwork. Despite his wing women Charlotte & Millie being on furlough and the challenges of switching all sessions to remote delivery via Zoom and training the delivery team on the platform, the attendance numbers have remained very high.
Well done in these challenging times.
Julie’s contributions to Riverside have been phenomenal, always going above and beyond with her work. In addition to this Julie runs and shares resources including the daily wake up shake up, monthly newsletters, information on weekly events and much more to assist everyone in the business.
Julie will be receiving a Strava membership for the year to support her with her running goals.
Chloe’s work throughout the month has been fantastic, in addition to diligently completing her self-study for the AAT L4 Qualification due to FE establishments Chloe has immersed herself in additional tasks supporting with Sub-Contracting and compliance issues whilst working in collaboration with another department. This has provided terrific insight and awareness of compliance matters and has also resulted in massive improvements. Thank you so much, keep the great work going.

Helen Murray has undertaken some robust and very well-received training this month and this has been fed back to me from a variety of staff members. She has had a lot of additional workloads to complete as we endeavor to make further improvements and have embraced these all positively. Her work is excellent and she has been supporting staff members so that they feel confident and comfortable with areas of difficulty and this has greatly improved outcomes for learners. I have been impressed with Helen’s attitude to change and proactivity in problem solving and making improvements within our organisation. Well done Helen and keep up the good work!
