ijlbrown - Sales Support/Administrator
Brief overview of the role
ijlbrown is a high quality furniture manufacturer and retailer who is looking for an experienced Sales Support/Administrator to join them on a permanent basis. The role is a full time position (part time may be considered).
The successful candidate will be a key administrator liaising between sales and production staff and external subcontractors to compile sales quotes. This position will ensure that quotes, purchase orders and sales orders are accurate and complete and that production costs are maintained and accurate.
Vacancy description
- to deal with incoming quote requests from sales staff and obtain relevant costing from in house production and external suppliers
- communicate sales price to the sales staff
- assist with sales order processing and maintenance
- maintain and updates accurate files and records
- generate sale order job cards ensuring all information is complete and accurate, communicating production times with sales staff
- raise purchase orders for suppliers and update as required
- closing production job cards ensuring all costing are included
- partake and oversee bi-annual stock takes
Key Requirements
- Excellent office administration skills essential
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in word, excel and email
- self motivated with a logical mind and keen eye for detail
- production background within manufacturing advantageous but not essential
- knowledge of CAD and MRP Easy advantageous
- ability to think laterally and suggest solutions and look at implications
