Gamber - Business Administrator Apprentice
Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an Business administration apprentice to join our busy Operations team based at our Grafton Lane site in Hereford. We buy and sell Poultry Litter and require administrative assistance in our offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inputting/updating data via spreadsheet (excel)
- Liaising with our suppliers for accurate information via telephone/email/text
- Liaising with our customers for accurate information via telephone/email/text
- Maintaining and update filing systems
- Development of internal processes
- Generating ideas and content for social media posts
- Working alongside our Sales Director and Sales Team
- Inputting data onto our Accounts software (Xero) once initial training has been completed
- Support and produce data via our new Portal (around December 2024)

- Excellent communication skills working within a team and with our customers and suppliers
- Good Telephone skills
- Time Management and organizational skills

- Working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Confident to present new/alternative ideas
- Work well under pressure
- Confidentiality
Educational Requirements:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 (C) or higher.
Future Prospects
This position is initially available on a full-time, fixed-term contract. Upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship, there is the possibility of an ongoing position, which will be discussed at the appropriate time.
