Apprenticeship Training & Delivery
Riverside Training supports learners and employers with Apprenticeship training and delivery. Apprenticeships allow learners to study whilst in employment, progressing in their chosen profession to achieve a qualification, providing real career opportunities for young people and adults. Training is delivered remotely through a variety of different teaching methods.
Apprenticeship training is effective and relevant to suit the needs of both the learner and employer with industry designed courses that have been developed to ensure that skills, knowledge and behaviours are identified, evidenced and achieved through a range of assessment methods to include observation, work based product evidence, professional discussion and where required testing will take place. Learning is facilitated through an approach of virtual learning with an e-learning platform delivered by a designated Work Based Tutor.
Apprenticeships are typically 12 months in duration but can range from 12 months, 18 months, 24 months or 30 months dependant on the qualification and sector area chosen.
Apprentices are allowed time for study related to their role with on and off-the-job training that will lead into a recognised Standard or Framework.
Some Apprenticeship Qualification Standards & Frameworks will require an End Point Assessment to confirm the competence of the learner and the role and will be awarded with a Pass, Merit or Distinction.
Riverside Training offer a robust induction, detailed training and a programme delivery plan combined with regular assessments, reviews, mentoring and guidance throughout the duration of learning.
